Opened in 2009 this is a lovely, design-led property, very different from other five-star resorts along the Goa coast, and with a clear focus on both the corporate meetings market as well as leisure, without losing the sense of being a retreat. It is on the edge of a village with views out across paddy fields, and almost fits into the landscape with its walls of the local red laterite stone, pitched roofs, wide verandahs and corridors of teak. In the evening the brass lanterns and moon lanterns create a magical atmosphere. WHERE IS IT? In Majorda, about 25 minutes… Read More

01/18/2016

News »  Published: 16/01/2016 - Filed under: News » The A350XWB aircraft is the new-generation aircraft from Airbus. It has a number of different configurations, and with its newly-announced ultra-long range configuration, the A350-900 is able to perform flights of up to 19 hours.  The A350 XWB offers efficiencies for the airlines ordering it. According to Airbus, these are: A 25 per cent improvement in fuel efficiency and a 25 per cent lower seat-mile cost compared to current aluminium long-range competitors, such as the B777. The A350 XWB is powered by new fuel-efficient and quiet Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines For every seat offered, the A350 XWB — or A350-900 — burns 9 per cent less fuel than the B787-9 This fuel-burn advantage, combined with lower maintenance costs, gives the A350-900 a… Read More
