BA brings in ‘standardised’ check-in/bag drop times

The move means that UK domestic and short-haul passengers have to check-in and drop-off their bags up to 45 minutes before departure. Long-haul passengers must check-in and drop-off their bags up to an hour before departure. London City airport is not included, so passengers can still arrive up to 20 minutes prior to departure. A BA spokesperson said: "We have decided to standarise the check-in closure times for as many of our flights as possible to help enhance our punctuality, which we know is important to customers. Etihad and Virgin Australia extend alliance

News »  Published: 04/12/2015 - Filed under: News » Etihad Airways and Virgin Australia have extended their alliance for a further five years, after being granted approval by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). Both carriers currently cooperate on the Australia–Abu Dhabi route, and the decision will allow them to continue to do so until December 30, 2020. The airlines currently codeshare on flights to 38 international destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, as well as a further 52 destinations in Australia and Asia. Easyjet to increase Scotland services with new aircraft

From next summer, the low-cost carrier will have eight jets at the airport operating on 36 routes. The airline flies to 62 destinations from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness airports. Rosewood to open Laos property in 2017

The riverfront property will have just 22 'accommodations' and will be located a short drive from the historic city of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
